Computing Planning
Computing lessons incorporate all Computing Skills from the UK National Curriculum. However, they include and are guided by Computational Thinking.
Computational Thinking and Computer Science Units
In this unit children learn all about Computational Thinking and how the four pillars are so important when creating computer programs and understanding computer science.
Also in this unit children learn all about creating programs using Scratch. Each Week children build their understanding of how to use the program and how to ultilise computational thinking whilst they create and tinker.
My Teacher Example Scratch Programs
Take time to look at the range of different Scratch programs I have made to aid learning. Children use these as a base to increase their understanding and for them to tinker. This approach allows children to take responsible risks and learn all about coding at the same time!
